Soy un apasionado del material con producción primitiva, donde la calidad de composición y ejecución justifica plenamente el sonido crudo y malévolo. Estas virtudes, que pocas bandas logran alcanzar, son ejecutadas a la perfección por los suecos de Morbid en este demo, producido y grabado magistralmente por Ragne Wahlquist, conocido por su trabajo en el clásico álbum "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus" de Candlemass, entre otros.
La instrumentación se destaca por su pulcritud, con poderosos y melódicos power riffs en las guitarras a cargo de Napolean Pukes (Disfear, Entombed, Murder Squead, Swarm) y Gehenna. Estos se complementan con las desdeñosas líneas de bajo de Dr. Schitz y la inflexible batería de Drutten (Entombed A.D., Firespawn, Comecon, Nihilist). Vale la pena mencionar el trabajo en las vocales y letras a cargo del polémico y excéntrico Dead, quien, tras su etapa con Morbid, se unió a la legendaria banda noruega Mayhem (85-88) hasta su trágico final en 1991.
La estructura y progresión del tema "Wings of Funeral" son simplemente épicas, resultando virtuosamente adictivas para los amantes del Metal extremo.
El arte del demo fue rediseñado para la edición en CD por el alegórico Necrolord.
